IGNITE SPARK DAYS

Welcome to Spark Days at IgniteCommunity School. We look forward to engaging in educational activities that foster joy and love for learning with your scholar(s). Our aim is to create an environment where learning is both enjoyable and enriching. On each Spark Day, students will participate in a variety of activities that go beyond the traditional classroom setting. We invite you to encourage your child to participate and look forward to seeing them thrive in this exciting program. Together, we can make learning a joyful adventure!

What are spark days?

In order to provide time for life to occur, while also fostering a love of learning and joy on campus, our scholars participate in Spark Days every Friday. Each Friday, we release at 1:00pm in order to ensure the opportunity for scholars to maintain physical and mental health and spend time with their families. For those families that need it, after care is available for all students until regular dismissal time at 3:30pm.

Spark Thursday

Igniting Every Scholar’s Path to College, Career, and Beyond

At Ignite Community Schools, we believe every scholar should be prepared for success after graduation. As part of our commitment to College and Career Readiness, we proudly celebrate Spark Thursday. This initiative encourages scholars to explore college, military, career, and technical education opportunities while building excitement about their future.

Spark Thursday Dress Expectations

On Spark Thursday, scholars may wear:

A college, university, military, trade school, or career-themed shirt.

Jeans without holes, rips, or tears.

Closed-toe tennis shoes.

 

Not permitted:

Crocs

Slides

Sandals

Distressed or ripped jeans

 

Scholars who choose not to participate in Spark Thursday are expected to wear their regular Ignite Community School uniform.

Ignite Friday

Celebrating School Pride, Unity, and Our Ignite Community

At Ignite Community Schools, we believe that building a strong school community starts with shared pride and a sense of belonging. As part of our commitment to fostering a positive and connected campus culture, we proudly celebrate Ignite Friday. This weekly tradition gives scholars, staff, and campus leadership an opportunity to show their Ignite pride while coming together as a unified school community.

Ignite Friday Dress Expectations

Every Friday, scholars, staff, and campus leadership are encouraged to show their Ignite pride by wearing:

 

An Ignite Community School spirit shirt

Jeans without holes, rips, or tears

Closed-toe tennis shoes

Staff and campus leaders may wear sandals with a back

(flip-flops are not permitted)

 

This weekly tradition celebrates our Ignite culture while promoting school spirit and unity across every campus.
