Issac Williams, Ed. M.

Executive Director of Schools

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Isaac Williams received a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies in English and American Literature, English Language Arts, and Humanities from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Upon graduation, he began teaching freshman English Language Arts and Reading for a local charter school while going to get a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies with a concentration on Educational Leadership from UTEP. He then went on to earn a second master’s in Educational Administration from UTEP, while teaching freshman English Language Arts, serving as an English I lead and coaching Speech, Debate, and Oral Interpretation at Eastlake High School in the Socorro Independent School District.

In 2017, Isaac became the Assistant Principal for the New Tech STEAM program at Brown Middle School in the El Paso Independent School District, where he served until the fall of 2020 when he joined the IDEA Public Schools to launch his Principal career. As the Executive Director of Schools for Ignite Community School, Isaac is committed and excited about working with a group of passionate educators that are focused on changing the course of students’ lives.
